Pulse is operated by Brian McCabe, based in Ireland. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at admin@gettingpulse.app for any privacy-related enquiries.
Waitlist sign-ups
When you complete the early access form on our landing page, we collect your name (optional), work email address, role, and team size. We use this information solely to contact you about Pulse's launch and early access programme. The legal basis for this processing is your consent, given when you submit the form.
GitHub org scan
When you scan a GitHub organisation, we query GitHub's public API on your behalf. We do not store the results — the scan runs in real time and is discarded after your session. No account or personal data is required to use this feature.
Product usage (when you connect your org)
For paying customers who connect integrations, Pulse collects aggregated engineering metrics (PR cycle time, review coverage, sprint completion rates, etc.) from GitHub, Linear, and Jira. We store metric values — not raw code, commit messages, or PR content. OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM.
We do not sell your data. Waitlist submissions are sent via email using a third-party SMTP provider (currently Resend, who act as a data processor on our behalf under a Data Processing Agreement). No other third parties receive your personal data.
Waitlist data is kept until Pulse launches or for a maximum of 12 months, whichever comes first. If you ask to be removed before then, we will delete your entry within 30 days. Product metric data is retained for 12 months by default and can be deleted on request.
If you are based in the EU or UK, you have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, email admin@gettingpulse.app. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
The landing page and public scan do not set any cookies. If you sign in to the product, a session cookie is used to keep you logged in. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated by email to anyone on the waitlist.
